Vetting them, instead of accepting everyone and refusing to ask for documentation - is proactive. The county - and the schools - let down that child and her entire family.  If they're here legally, can you imagine how "safe" she and her family now feel?  What protections are offered to people who arrive through legal channels?

ICE does not have them. They are in jail in the County. They will stand trial on these charges. It will be a long time before ICE gets them.

I would definitely like to know what demolition company Barrera-Navidad worked for.  Must have been something local in Montgomery County.  Agree completely that employers need to be held responsible for hiring illegal employees.
