They just bombed the CogAT and the teachers/school officials deemed them below average in giftedness. But their prents won't take no for an answer so they get in. So manay stories like this it really haas become AAP-lite these days.[/quote] And there was additional testing. My DD gets anxious before tests and does not test well (~120). But she had high GBRS (14). A high WISC beats COGAT any day of the week. And the admission guideline is potential giftedness.[/quote]
