The above is just wrong.  The argument that VLC plays stronger tournaments than DCE or NL isn't accurate.

The actual current hierarchy is Mad Lax is probably in a group on its own at the top.  Hawks, Crabs, and FCA are also probably in this same tier for Annapolis/Bmore.

Then VLC, NL, DCE, and whatever remains of BW are all pretty similar in the next echelon down.  Looneys and Team 91 MD would be in this same tier for Bmore.  VLC used to be in a somewhat higher tier than the precursors of DCE and NL, but if you look at the current roster of teams, it's hard to say than the current VLC teams are better or better positioned for college recruiting as a whole.  Individual years each of these clubs have strong and not as strong teams.

After that, you have Cavs, Evergreen, 3D, Top Caliber, Maryland Extreme, etc. in a third tier.  Cavs is probably the best of these third tier clubs for most years.    [/quote]

We are comparing apples and bananas.  NL and DCE are not competing for the same kids as VLC.  Hawks Crabs T91 FCA are not relevant to a web page on DC Urban Moms and Dad's other than many MD kids play there.  NL, DCE, and ML are getting kids from  Northern Fairfax but mostly Mont. Co. ML from all of N.VA and VLC almost exclusively FFX, PW, and Loudoun.  [/quote]
