100% correct. She was all set to go to Edinburgh, which is a superior university to St. Andrews, and was not planning a gap year until Carole heard about William's plans. Kate even went to the same gap year organization and location as William but several months apart. Carole didn't become discreet about William until after Kate started dating him. She openly talked about getting her girls into the toff, ultra-wealthy circles. Parents from Marlborough College where Kate went for upper school heard about the move to St. Andrews on this basis. What? Even if what you said was true there was zero guarantee William would choose to date Kate and then marry her so your assertions are ridiculous. Basically it sounds like your issue is with the Middletons sending their kids to prestigious schools so they could run in wealthy circles and hopefully marry up. This is no different than what half the women in this country are doing so I'm not sure why you're acting so appalled. This is pretty much what Meghan was known to do as well. [/quote]
