NP here, I’m white and find your cognitive dissonance alarming.  There is no indication of her being manipulated whatsoever.  There are many indications that she did this deliberately.   She broke the law and should serve a reasonable sentence.  Two years is within that realm.   All the apologists saying this isn’t that bad when she intentionally paid bribes and committed fraud - makes me wonder what you do stand for.  [/quote]

+1  Her husband also bullied a guidance counselor who pointed out that neither girl had ever been seen rowing crew.  This isn't a thoughtless plan.  They knew they were committing fraud.[/quote]
