You're not making much sense here, honestly. So this is hard to respond to. But your hatred of tattoos is kinda over-the-top, and I've got no problem with failing to convince you. I will say it's weird & hilarious to be called judgy & smug by someone that says "[i]please know that when i look at you I don’t see edgy or cool, I see trailer park, pit bull, unwed mother and a long string of bad decisions[/i]." You're really not the best representative for your cause.

I’m not the pp talking about trailers and pit bulls. You do seem insufferable, however, so it’s reasonable to wonder what your blue collar buddies at the dive bar really think of you. It’s also reasonable to wonder how your post about getting tats to protest the mainstream squares with your subsequent claim that you’re not judgemental yourself, only against laziness.[/quote]

So let’s be clear that I am judgmental about plenty of things, including tattoos. Just because I am tattooed and enjoy it doesn’t mean I’m one of those people who thinks no judgments can be made about anything ever. I just don’t automatically equate tattoos with trash - as I said, that depends much more on design, placement, and other factors. As far as my buddies go, I am blessed with close friends from many walks of life, and I’m absolutely willing to eject someone from my inner circle if they find me insufferable. People change and grow, not all personalities are harmonious, and I don’t expect that  everyone has to be friends. But for purposes of the specific questions posed by this thread, the ink has been a non-issue. [/quote]
