The D1 colleges that recruit for lacrosse are some of the best colleges in the nation ie: Duke, Brown, Cornell, Princeton UNC at Chapel Hill, Notre Dame, Penn etc. Kids that otherwise would not have a chance to get admitted to these schools can use their lacrosse abilities to get in. It also gives the school a better list of college acceptances.[/quote]
