I think you are confused a bit.  MW itself is in 22031, FAIRFAX.... and draws kids from 22031 around the school.  You can blather all you want about how MW is high income.  It's not.  Doesn't matter how many time you cast it that way.  Yes, there is a mix.  No one said that the majority of MW was low income.  But, there is, in fact, whether you admit it or not, a substantial portion of the school on free meals and for whom English is a second language.

While the profile shows 25% FARMS and 20% ESOL, when you take away the AAP kids who are going to Lanier, Frost, and Rocky Run, you'll see find that the true FARMS and ESOL rate is higher than 25% and 20% respectively.  And the rest of the school is not "wealthy" as in 5000 square ft. homes.  There are a lot of 2 level TH families, and some SFH families.  It is a school that definitely is aware that not all of the students have $$ for extras.   (All of this is a good thing!  But, I just point it out to counter the claims that the rezoned kids are all Richy-Rich kids.)  [/quote]
