This is basically the same ranking from the 90’s. 
Maybe JMU had a slight edge on Tech at the time. Tech seemed to be a bit more ( teeny tiny bit)  of a safety at the time.
But ultimately the more things change, the more they stay the same.[/quote]

Nor GMU which is only a hairsbreadth GPA away from JMU and same average SAT.  That said this doesn't indicate what you need to get in, only the average scores of accepted students from one FCPS hs.  Still seems pretty competitive to be a NOVA student applicant at any of the public colleges/universities...[/quote]
