Has anyone asked the principal directly?
Called and called and she can't be bothered to answer. I'm Sure we aren't the only ones calling and emailing. Although who knows.
She said directly and publicly at the most recent Coffee with the Principal that there is no location lined up. As as always, they would like to find a place to consolidate into one campus. The notes were shared on the parent list serve. That seems transparent to me.
It's not transparent because the Admin (not just Cristina) has told some people about being in final stages of a consolidated location that will be announced within a few weeks. I'm happy with the news, but they aren't doing themselves any favors by not addressing it with everyone. Even in a "we can't tell you yet, but something is brewing" way.
What more is there to say? All evidence suggests that LAMB has been straight up lying to its parents and community about this subject for weeks/months. Its one thing to make a decision not to disclose information, and say "We haven't entered into any agreement, we're seeking a consolidate home as always." That's perfectly appropriate if that's your uniform message. But to have assistant principals telling prospective parents on tours, and Cristina telling SOME parents directly that they are likely moving to a new consolidated campus in 2018, while AT THE EXACT SAME TIME turning around and telling other parents "nothing to see here"? That is just lying. This from the school who hid their administrators and sent their lawyer out to say "we were never notified about any past misconduct of our sexual predator teacher" and then when confronted with the fact that the school had, in fact, been previously told by another teacher there that the sexual predator had been taking students alone into an unmarked storage room during school hours, were forced to say "oh, well, yes we were notified of that, we meant no VICTIM had ever notified us". And then decided to NEVER notify the families that had been taught by the sexual predator in past years? I've never gotten over that. And now, true to form, the administration is hiding and refusing to answer questions about information they have themselves introduced to the discussion by telling a whole class of parents, among other people ("new campus coming!") I'm about done with this crap, tbqh.
