Louise Lucas’s Twitter is wild: [twitter]https://twitter.com/SenLouiseLucas/status/1757472154449588355?s=20[/twitter] [twitter]https://twitter.com/SenLouiseLucas/status/1759307285631783297?s=20[/twitter]
If she only showed the same amount of energy and enthusiasm in saving the hellhole that is her hometown…
I'm from that hellhole, and it's actually gotten better in the past few years. Republicans putting tolls on the tunnels really hurt the businesses in area and it's slowly getting better.
If you were really from Portsmouth, you’d know the city turned into a dangerous dump long before the tunnel tolls appeared.
I am actually from Portsmouth, go back to visit on a regular basis, and it has improved and is not as dangerous as it was 20 years ago. The downtown library is now awesome, the old town district seems to have lots going on and many new business owners. The tolls have really hurt local businesses and caused some long time stores to close, but on the plus side, it's affordable for younger people so they seem to be making changes.
