Maybe because they wanted to move on, forget about him, didn’t keep tabs on what he was doing and didn’t know he had a new job, there are a million reasons why.

I was assaulted 20 years ago in college, a guy followed me into the bathroom at a party, was much bigger than me, forced himself o. Me, gripes me, and it wasn’t until I could break free and cry for help did a guy friend hear me and bust in. I can remember it like it was yesterday.  I didn’t go to the campus police, I left the party and went home. This happened at another college.  I didn’t have to see the guy again for like 10 years. I didn’t think anyone would believe me and I wasn’t even sure that it was a crime back then.   I didn’t keep tabs on this guy’s every move, where he lived, what he did, etc.  doesn’t mean I am a liar.  Doesn’t mean I am exaggerating.

Victim shaming, it’s real.
