I did not post the longer post detailing the inconsistencies. I did mention some of the nagging doubts that I've had myself when reading about this case. I think it's weird for people to not consider both sides - the defense and the prosecution. I think our society would be a horrible place to live if we didn't insist on fair trials for everyone. This is not to say that Brock Turner did not receive a fair trial but if their are serious doubts regarding how that verdict was reached now IS, in fact, the time to raise them. [/quote]
