I don't know the player, but it brings up an interesting data point.  We all know several players from this area have gone to academies outside of the region.  Some of them are players that received offers from DCU and chose to go elsewhere, some are not.

Are there any players at DCU Academy from other regions?  Has anyone chosen DC over another academy?

Only a family that has no other options for MLS academy level near them or doesn't know any better.  DCU is just not a desirable option for any player really.  But they benefit from and rest on being the only game in town.[/quote]

Doing some research and I don't see any rankings or evaluations from US Soccer or MLS that ranks the academies based off a set of objective criteria
