Riverside would beat Yorktown by 15+. Just ask any of the top 6A teams/coaches
That's a joke. Yorktown can only pay whoever is in front of them and every team that was put in front of them was beat. You can say all you want with the "what if they played the 95 Bulls with Michael Jordan" scenarios you want but the fact remains is undefeated is undefeated.
hence the commentary of how weak public lax is this spring. Get to the state finals
The Yorktown bit is played out, it has to be a troll. Nobody with a real sense of the quality of lacrosse would argue that they can compete with any of the stronger privates in DC. By all means, give them credit for beating the opponents they play, but they are in a completely different place than any of the DC privates. As for Landon/Prep - give Landon credit for battling throughout the game despite not being as athletic and having a possession disadvantage. And give Prep credit for putting a stop to Landon runs and limiting Landon momentum in four games. The only game Landon had an extended run was in the 9-10 game when prep fogo had multiple violations early in the second half.
I'm no more of a troll than the private school parents that assume the only way to D1 is via Landon etc. It's crazy. The privates may have a longer pedigree but that doesn't mean they are the only way.
