The prosecutors are recommending a sentence at the minimum end for Huffman (@4 months in prison) because all things considered her crime is of a lesser degree than the people who paid off coaches or both arranged for fake exams & paid off coaches.

Exactly.  I'm sure that she's very regretful that she's been caught red handed and had no other real choice but to make a plea deal and express remorse.  I wonder how much her lawyer helped her to craft that statement.

That's what's happening. She will do some jail time and pay a fine. Up to the judge when she will be sentenced and when her sentence begins.[/quote]
