I am the PP you quote.  I am a democrat and have not voted for any republican since the late 90s (and that was for a local office).  I am not a "Never Trumper" but would probably qualify in your mind as having Trump Derangement Syndrome.

I am completely and utterly serious.  If 1 FBI agent (leave alone 14) comes forward saying there was something illegal or unethical about the DoJ's actions, s/he should be afforded all the protections of the Whistleblower Act and no negative actions should be taken against the whistleblower(s).

Suspect it's just more of the crap that happened with the J6 hearings when something was claimed to be "anonymous whistleblower" or "Secret Service denies it" that's trashtalking but when it comes time to step up and lay their hands on a bible, swear to tell the truth under penalty of perjury and repeat claims being made they suddenly become shy and are nowhere to be found.

Thats not what the Whistleblower Act says.  You have to report, with credible documentation, to your IG (probably after hiring a lawyer).  The contents of your concerns do not have to be made public, but you do have to swear that what you say is true.

No where does it say you can claim whistleblower status by talking off the record to Jim Jordan or anyone else in Congress.  Again, I suspect there is nothing here, but did want to correct that things have to be made public in order to invoke whistleblower status.  [/quote]
