Landon's achilles heel all year has been sloppy unforced clearing mistakes.

Prep played younger guys (sophs) in the 2nd midfield last night for the first time all season. They took lead at 3-2 and were in control for the rest of the game. This was a very physical game by both teams who slid hard and disrupted set plays. Landon brought intensity and their fan base showed out. Landon is much more dependent on set plays/screens. Prep has more dynamic players that can score unassisted in many ways. Beating a rival 4x in one season is extremely difficult and a credit to Prep's talent.

Prep played a very sloppy game vs SJ last time and was not mentally prepared...too many late nights carousing that week after the IAC tourney win. SJ scored half their goals in transition from Prep mistakes; rebound goals and one empty net goal at the very end. Despite this, the game was very close until the last few minutes. This will not happen in a rematch. Prep has a better, deeper team. I give SJ the edge at goalie and that is it. Prep wins on Friday.   [/quote]
