He is playing the long game. Trump will not last the full four years. He will either die in office or, unlike Biden, Trump will step down or get pushed out in the third year. This will give the country to warm up to Vance. And unlike Harris, Vance will admit that there are things he would have done differently than Trump, such as the war. People are stupid, and will give him the benefit of the doubt and a chance to run the country for a full term as POTUS>[/quote]

Trump's ego will.never resign.  Trump does not have an ounce of altruism in his obese disgusting body and making it easy for Vance or rubio is not something he will do.  Jefferies has said impeachment is not on his agenda.  If Dems have the House and Senate trump isn't a lame duck he is a featherless decaying POS .[/quote]
