On attack I give a slight advantage to Langley. Number two on Langley and number seven on Yorktown cancel each other out. Offensive player of the year and overall player of the year. Both are 50+ goalscorers with great vision and can feed their teammates as well. Number three on Langley and number 37 on Yorktown also cancel each other out. Both are great at finding open space and finishing around the goal. Both are 30+ goalscorers. Factor is number zero on Langley.
X factor is #0 on Langley. He did not play in the first matchup, but it looks like he may be back and if he is, he is a tough matchup for the second or third pole. Slight advantage to Langley through the midfield. More dynamic scorers. Yorktown middies are better defenders. Big advantage to Yorktown on defense. They have big athletic poles that can apply pressure all over the field. They are also more effective in the clearing game. Advantage to Yorktown in the goal. They have one of the better goalies in the area. Senior with tons of big game experience. Slight advantage to Langley in the face-off game. He will probably win more face offs and is also better at pushing the ball and transition. Overall, Yorktown is playing just a bit better right now. It should be a great game, but I think Yorktown takes it by a goal or two.
