He’s not elite anymore. He’s a washed up old man in football terms. In 12 months he’ll be a retired has-been sitting at home all day. He was kicked out of college for being a drug addict. He also flunked high school and college courses as a star athlete. Then he was given an honorary bachelor’s degree and used the occasion to shotgun beers on stage. Bonafide doofus. [/quote]

He wasn’t kicked out of college for being a drug addict. He was suspended from the team for marijuana usage while in New Orleans - where it was legal. He got back on the team and finished out his degree and tune in the team.

He wasn’t given an honorary bachelors degree. He earned it but never actually picked it up. It was a running joke. They then did a live podcast where the school did a pretend ceremony. It wasn’t some sanctioned, hallowed ceremony. The school reps were in on the joke.
