Leave and go to a school that will play your kid as a starter.  Even if the school isn’t as good your kid will get to play against top teams, will get a chance at contributing and getting recognized for it which helps with recruiting.  Will also have a chance at team honors like All ISL or WCAC or Met or whatever.  Builds your kids lax resume. You will have no chance at getting better on JV playing rec level lacrosse. And when you leave get an actual commitment from the coach. [/quote]

Have you seen recruiting profiles of girls from a top club?  The list of accolades is largely from the high school team. Lists whether you were on varsity, how many years, were you a starter, how many goals, turnovers, what recognition you received. Do you not think every girls from SR isn’t highlighting they played on a three time ISL champion team? Some of your highlight reel comes from high school. It does matter . [/quote]

Not only does the highschool you play for matter, the connections you make with the head coach there (assuming she is well known in the lax world) are second to none. The film is another part of it [/quote]
