Good coaching is about knowing when it’s time to readjust and how to readjust. There shouldn’t be anything to lose unless the coach feels that making changes are somehow an admission that they’ve been wrong in their strategy or about the players they’ve chosen, in which case a coach with an ego will stick to their guns and see only what they want to see.
