The defense was pretty upset that they were unable to cross examine the detective’s interview with AP. They said that the prosecutor was cherry picking statements. They specifically mentioned the movie “My Cousin Vinny”. And mentioned on how it is clearly self defense to shoot an intruder with a knife. The prosecution focused very narrowly on the AP’s role with the second shot. It sounds like there is a lot about the circumstances that the defense was unable to present.[/quote]
