Democrats want the focus to stay on the opinion and not the leak because the opinion is devastating for Republicans.  Republicans are trying to get everyone to focus on the leak rather than the opinion for exactly the same reason.  I doubt Schiff knows who leaked it or even which side of the Court it came from, and there’s no political value for him in speculating.  The substance of the decision is the better focus even if it came from one of Alito or Thomas’s clerks. [/quote]
Great points here, and more reasons why a leak from the left makes no sense.
