Why do you care?  Do you live in South Carolina?  These standards were written by a state as it is their prerogative to do so.  It is up to the citizens of South Carolina to protest their new standards if they wish to do so.  [/quote]

Because this is your argument: The Common Core standards are terrible because they weren't piloted, vetted, or tested, so it's great news that South Carolina is replacing the terrible Common Core standards with standards that weren't piloted, vetted, or tested![/quote]
