I've been involved with community issues in NYC. Millennials are some of the most insufferable performative virtue signalers. They show up to community meetings, rant and rave, and then never show up again to the meeting and/or do nothing about the issue. Believe me, I don't think there should be billionaires either but I have no faith in Mamdani to accomplish anything. So the guy made videos that attracted attention. So he can smile into the camera. The most important part of being mayor is having a good relationship with the governor. Deblasio and Cuomo famously despised each other which led to the COVID crisis affecting nyc in a large way because Cuomo refused to give bigger budgets to de Blasio hoping he’d fail. Cuomo got the karma he deserved.

Kathy hochul will be under lots of pressure to make Mamdani fail. I hope she doesn’t listen [/quote]
