It wasn’t even close to being the same. The Clinton campaign reported the expense on its FEC report. The FEC made a BFD about the description of the expense, something they never ever do. The Clinton campaign paid the fine because that was cheaper than the legal costs of objecting to the nit-picking complaint. [/quote]
