NVA was asked to make room for boys who are still under dcu contract.
Confirmed. Rooney is coming back to coach NVA.
Keep trying to deflect. Not going to work. DCU should be ashamed of themselves. Cutting a team after you recruited them and signed them is one thing but then making the decision to cut the team AND failing to have an adequate communication to the parents with the news leaking is just really bad. Many of the parents found out from other parents and from other people not even affiliated with the club but who somehow had the knowledge. Then had to verify with DCU and they were like crap, we need to say something. It is how the organization operates. In a vacuum with little or no understanding, comprehension or care about the impact of their decision making on other people and their lives. Just what they want. It's just so bad over there. Now, there is one less year in the player pathway at DCU which already has serious problems developing players. Which means more time spent in the local clubs that have way less incentive to develop your son because they just want your money. DCU cares about one thing, saving money. That is all. This is why it will never be a top notch MLS academy. Something that has been proven over and over again on this thread.
