Arghh sorry I messed up my PP. Anyway:

This is such a weird sequence of events. Why did they both shoot? Is there any idea of how much time elapsed between the BB and AP shootings? The only scenarios I see in my head for something like this is a) shooter 1 becomes incapacitated so person 2 has to finish off neutralizing the threat in front of them or b) an execution-style murder. Also in that scenario, shooter 1 is a federal law enforcement officer and shooter 2 is a rando? I need a full two hour Dateline special.[/quote]

My guess is the trained LE officer shot to make sure martial arts trained Joe would not survive or pose a threat and had AP shoot to keep her mouth shut. Think Robert Wone - 3 stab wounds, 3 men in house. Also a bs story but none have talked and none were ever imprisoned.

More details likely came out re: sequence from the prelim, our intrepid DCUM reporter has promised info this evening.
