So a random dad on the Internet gets to decide where a family sends his son? Didn't see you complain when Landon poached the best players from the heights, starting and the Oregon kid. Or the dematha pg who came only for his senior kid.
Prep has a kid coming in from Episcopal, and Landon has the goalie coming from Maret. Everyone accepts transfers. It's just that more transfers go to Bullis, because they have less depth on their roster. Much easier to be a starter and an impact player on that Bullis team, as opposed to Landon, Prep or Gonzaga, when they each have more than a dozen D1 commits.
Is that true? Landon, Prep, Gonzaga each have more than a dozen D1 commits? Do these schools also typically have D3 commits? What about the other schools in the WCAC/IAC - do they even have a fraction of those numbers?
Depends on what point in time you're talking. I think Landon had like 16 DI commits just between the 2017/2018s, so schools have more than a dozen at times. Prep had like 6 for 2017/18, but also had several 2019s before the rule change I think. So they are probably a little under a dozen right now, but the numbers can flip year-to-year. Gonzaga is also probably shy of a dozen right now, but it seems like they were probably over that a couple years ago. As to other schools, SSSAS usually has a couple each year. Bullis has several per year the last couple of years and more in the pipeline, especially 2019s. After that among local schools, it's hard to say who has the most. Maybe Churchill or Robinson or Episcopal? But it goes way down after Landon/Prep/Bullis/Gonzaga/SSSAS in terms of quantity of DI players unless I'm forgetting someone. Obviously, there are also several Baltimore schools that produce many players each year -- Boys Latin, McDonogh, Calvert Hall, etc., but just talking local DC and suburbs schools.
