I’m not defending this war, but it seems odd to say that Iran holds all the cards.  Aren’t their oil exports essentially stopped from the US naval blockade?  That has to be devastating to their economy.[/quote]

The US navy blockade is a joke. It is not working because the US does not have enough ships and air assets to blockade Iran. Plus over 110 million barrels of Iranian oil is in tankers in Chinese waters waiting to be unloaded.

Iran has facts on the ground vs Trump’s regurgitated Israeli demands. The strait of Hormuz are in Iran’s territorial waters. There is nothing the US can do but recognize Iran is not going anywhere. The US really has no leverage at all. Iran can keep this up well or a full on war in to the 2028 elections.

High oil prices will wreck the US economy and speed of the electrification of countries economies. This is a clear defeat for the US and Israel. It is just a matter of when it is recognized. [/quote]
