Yeah, I gave up a while ago although I almost am "August Guy" - my daughter is a late Sept U13 birthday who played ECNL this season as 3/18 girls who are likely to move "down" (this is bs, but I'll play). I have no clue why in the world a person would be so hung up on such an edge case and comment on every single thread, but here we are.

In her case, it will be the first time playing on grade, but one of the 3 will be below grade and that's fine. Our team is currently in the top 25 nationally and first in their conference. I expect most highly competitive teams to follow ECNL's recommendation of playing with the new age range. [/quote]
Just a word of advise. Before the 2017 switch to BY Aug birthdays that were looking to get recruited and play in college played on the team that was their grade in school. Do what you want but that's how it worked before and likely how it will work again. [/quote]
