Some multisport kids at Landon 22 Football and Lacrosse 18 Football, Wrestling, Lacrosse 42 Soccer, football kicker, wrestling, lacrosse 4 soccer lacrosse 16 soccer lacrosse 14 soccer lacrosse 2 Football Lacrosse 9 Football Lacrosse 25 Basketball Lacrosse 10 Football Lacrosse 3 Hockey Lacrosse 15 Football Lacrosse 1 Hockey Lacrosse 26 Football, Wrestling, Lacrosse 5 Wrestling Lacrosse 34 Football, Wrestling, Lacrosse 23 Football Lacrosse 31 Football Wrestling Lacrosse 13 Soccer Lacrosse 47 Wrestling Lacrosse 32 Hockey Lacrosse This isn't a complete list of multisport lacrosse players at Landon, there are other kids, but I don't have the program handy. So that Landon squad might need a week or three to get into playing lacrosse together because they mostly play multiple sports-the way things should be, but SJCHs wants to play in that little window when Landon isn't ready. Landon and SJCHS are 2-2 the last 4 times they have played. The last SJCH win at the start of COVID was a 1 goal game and Landon's all american, #50 didn't finish in front of the net alone with 5 seconds left. A barn burner if you will. I suspect the bears would be happy to play SJCHS later in the season when they are hitting on all cylinders.
Hysterical that the IAC is saying they aren’t ready to play when the season starts.
You must be dense. Kids that play year round lacrosse at their high school are more ready to play on the third weekend in February than kids that have been playing other sports for the entire year. That is the point.
Most of you are missing the point. Saying that hard core individual lax players are always ready to play is totally different than when those same players play with their hs teams and have a totally different coach and a totally different system than their club teams goes to show you clearly don’t have a high level lax player in the house or you’d understand the difference lol! Hell, Landon didn’t even have some players final positions solidified until half way through the season.
