It's irrelevant. She isn't good at press conferences, so why should she hurt her campaign by doing them?  It's a political calculation.  Thomas Jefferson was so bad at public speaking he gave the State of the Union in writing.  Maybe she should promise to do a press conference when Trump releases his tax returns.[/quote]

If you run for public office you need to be willing to go through the process of being vetted and questioned. Press conferences are part of that process whether one is good at them or not.[/quote]

Trump thinks he is a good debater, so he won't refuse.  If he loses, he will still think he won, saying "a lot of people called me and said I did great," and will blame the dishonest press for saying otherwise.[/quote]
