Whine a lot and start whispering campaigns but don't do much to help the school? We know who you are. Good for the teachers. They should absolutely get preferential treatment in admissions. Private schools give it to teachers for very good reason. [/quote]

Let's please not throw the teachers under the bus.  If you have evidence that any of them lied about their residency then please contact OSSE.  I have reason to believe that this is something that was done external to the lottery by the Principal for reasons known only to him.  I also understand that that the issue was brought to the attention of DCPS last year by a parent who was trashing the Brent admin on DCUM and MOTH.  Any frustration that your child didn't get one of these spots is understandable but not really the fault of those teachers, at least in my opinion.  It's water under the bridge at this point and time to move on and address other issues.  [/quote]
