looks like she lost the puppy fat a lot of women have in their early 20's. She was cute before, but she looks really good now. I remember thinking at the time that she was a total dumbass, but I do feel bad that one lapse in judgment had to follow her for the rest of her life. Too bad she confided in someone with an ax to grind; she could have kept things secret, had a normal career and written a killer tell-all much later in life. (and yeah, I think Clinton f'ed up. Bigtime. Bigger error in judgment. abuse of power. But they were both adults, so her judgment was an issue too.)
Aside from hooking up with a married person being not-so-great, what did she do wrong, exactly?
If hooking up with a married person isn't enough (IMHO, it is), hooking up with your boss is also a significant lapse in judgment -- more so when your boss is in a position that receives a lot of scrutiny.
Excuse me? She may have been over 18, but she was a child. Set aside for a moment that he was the President of the United States. If he had been a 50 year old CEO and she had been an intern at his company, would you feel the same way? Would you blame the intern for sleeping with a man who had that much power over her? Further, before she talked, she lost her job (they shuffled her off to another agency) because she slept with Clinton. I remember Senator Boxer ranting on the Senate floor about a Republican who had an affair, saying that "There is no such thing as a consensual relationship" between a boss and their employee. However, when it was a Democratic POTUS and a girl that was barely of age, it was suddenly all the girl's fault.
I thought we already covered the fact that both Clinton AND Lewinsky were lacking in judgment. GMAFB, she was NOT a child, but a full-grown adult who should have known better. Children don't fuck their bosses and teachers. Unless one of the posters here is actually Barbara Boxer, who cares what she had to say about anything?
