What are avg. class sizes at Lemon Road?? Again, how strong is their AAP program compared to other the LLIVs (particularly Shreve and Westgate since those schools seem to be demographically alike...)
The first few pages discussed the AAP program there. Did you go to the prientation? I would think it is better than either of those schools mainly because there are more children in the program. Neither school has the large class sizes that you see in Mclean and Vienna so it's unlikely any school will have classes over 30 students or even over 25 students. If FCPS allows Shrevewood to have an all LLIV program under 20 students again, I will bring it to their attention publicly. I think they will fix this though so that Westgate and Shrevewood will continue to be mixed classrooms of LLIV, LLIII, LLII, and general ed children.
It looks from the board docs that Shrevewood and Lemon Road are "competing" for the LLIV students. Both want to grow their program. Makes me wonder if their local screening committees will be inflating GBRS at both schools.
