Sure, you can go into the mall and loudly talk about Santa not being real.  But, that doesn't mean that you should. I try to be respectful of other people's beliefs and I expect the same in return.

If you don't celebrate Christmas and your kids don't believe in Santa, fine.  But you know -100% absolutely know- that many people do.  And, that many people would be quite upset if you ruined the myth and fun for their kids before they were old enough to figure it out. You don't have to agree with it or like it.  You can think it's stupid or whatever you want.  But, once you tell a kid (or a kid overhears) that Santa may not be real, then it's never the same for them.  If you don't celebrate it, then you don't get it.

If you are not going to have a little consideration of this, then you cannot expect it in return. Period.  So, lower your voice or take it somewhere else.  Bash Santa in private.  Knock yourself out.[/quote]
