Wow, I'm also the same age (and female) and am worried about exactly this happening. How on earth do you bring it up with someone? I'm not religious, not a prude, and not secretly a lesbian. Sex just hasn't happened for me for a variety of reasons, and as the years go by, it's harder and harder to do something about it.

I'm a PP who lost it at 30. Why are the guys freaked out about the fact that you are a virgin? My now DH, then BF, had no problems with it and felt really happy by the fact that I had given it him.[/quote]
It's a red flag for other problems. Most smart people are going to run away from a 20 some year old vigin. Just the fact that it is such a big deal can hide a lot of issues.[/quote]
