It sounds like you love your daughter, you don't think the school recognizes what's special about her, and you think that the kid who got the award is far less deserving and a bully to boot (and apparently you're not too crazy about the little girl's family either). My thoughts are that you might consider homeschooling- based on your reaction to these awards for five year olds, it may be your best course of action. [/quote]
