I can NOT believe how many hateful assumptions are being made here. The only thing I have said is instead of focusing on getting each other out of each others religions and trying to get each other into our own religions - why don't we all focus on being as good of a person as we can be and serve God the best we can? That's all I said. I find all the hate quite amusing...it sure doesn't yell "Good Christian" to me.

And just to clarify: I am German. I am catholic. I firmly believe in God - I do not believe in the Church as an institution. I live my life the way I think God wants me to live it. Not the way some church tells me to. And that's what I wish everyone else would do. Then there wouldn't be so much hate and arguing between all the different churches and we could all go back to just being good Christians.[/quote]

Nice, but your last sentence indicates that you're limiting your concept of how to live with less hate and arguing to people who believe in a Christian God. Did you mean to exclude non-christians and non-religious people?[/quote]
