Same here!  Sometimes there's only ONE SOCK from a pair after doing laundry, and then months later I'll find the orphan sock all balled up behind the washing machine. I swear I didn't put it there. It is just SO WEIRD. I'm going to give Barb Mallon a ring right now.[/quote]

OP, you've asked what others would do.  I would write the phone call off to an odd coincidence.  Really, what else can it be?

The dreams (yes, I do believe they are dreams) are trying to tell you something.  You have double checked the safety of your house.  I have no idea what to suggest about what you saw in your dream because you won't describe it.  Clowns?  Ghosts?  Something to do with drugs/illegal activity?  Are you thinking along the lines of a Poltergeist?  I don't know.[b]  It's hard to answer with what one would do without knowing the full extent of the problem.
