Parent of an older player here: this really isn’t complicated. I may not know every detail of the 2030 class, but I’ve seen how this works, and it’s the same every time. The top high school teams around here are M&D Black, Hero’s Green, Capital Blue, and Skywalkers Blue. Period. No one else is close. People can complain, overhype other programs, or pretend the gap isn’t real, but it is. And that’s not changing anytime soon. If you want your daughter to have a real shot at D1 lacrosse, get her on one of those teams. Otherwise, you’re making the path much harder than it needs to be. Worrying about the number of practices a week misses the point entirely.
You def have an older player which is why you aren’t aware of the changing trends. M&D Black/ HG are in their own tier. Then there’s a gap. Capital/SW/MDU all mostly grouped together at 2027, 2028. 2030 obviously remains to be seen with Capital but I don’t see them better than what BLC is, which is clearly behind MDU and likely SW (who will continue to add talent)
