They're describing the same conditions they regularly warn of as storms are advancing. The main difference here is that they're doing it a day before. But if you read or hear weather reports on the same day as storms, or as they're about to hit, you will regularly hear risks of "peak gusts of 70 to 80 mph" and possible tornadoes.[/quote]
