Kids are getting at least 990 hours of school each year, no matter how those days are arranged.  Yes, the calendar was a mess in the fall and it was hard to get into any type of routine.  But there will still be at least 990 hours of school this year, even with these snow days.  Years with little snow get 990+ hours, as unused time for snowdays is never given back and we rarely use all of the time that's allotted.  So please direct your concern to a more pressing need.[/quote]

OH WELL! You’re not the VDOE. You’re not the school board. You don’t control the weather. None of this is anything you get a say on or that you’ll change by whining about snow days every winter. [/quote]
