In the meantime, they are probably just quietly and persistently reaching out to coaches and players.  They just need numbers and only need to poach a few players to impact quality of other nearby clubs.  Hopefully nearby clubs and coaches are checking in with their players and families because in the quiet of winter, the loudest, most persistent voice makes a difference.  Persistent recruiting doesn't make them a good club to move to, but the loudest voice in kids' sports can certainly influence short term decisions and distract from long term thinking. [/quote]

I would just think that if you’re trying to convince new kids/parents to join and you have good answers to the obvious questions — who will be coaching, where will practices be, what league will they be playing in — you’d want to get those answers out there.
