Trump has done plenty to indicate that [b]he's a con man[/b].  I understand that atheists don't want to identify with him.  But I think he is one - a bad atheist, who is posing as a Christian because it's helpful to him politically.

Yes, he's a con man. That doesn't mean in any way that he's an atheist. He can be a con man and still believe in god/heaven.

You're right -- being a con man doesn't necessarily go hand in hand with being an atheist -- or a believer.  But Trump is an atheist who is hiding it to con Christians into supporting  him.   It worked.[/quote]

You're right that conning Christians doesn't make you an atheist, but I think that Trump is both a con-man and an atheist -- two attributes that don't necessarily go together, but in his case, they do.[/quote]
