Another book worth reading is by Princess Diana’s brother, A Very Private School by Charles Spencer. He writes of his and other students experience at a very abusive British boarding school. A lot of powerful and influential men and women in the UK and elsewhere were sent to boarding schools at a young age. There have been scandals about the abuse but even the boarding schools that were not sexually or physically abusing children still f***ed kids up. Children were sent at 7, 8 or 9 whether they wanted to leave home or not. It traumatized and messed up a lot of them and explains why so many of them in power lack empathy.

I’ve heard about Lownie’s book, it sounds horrifying. Former MP and cabinet member Norman Baker also has a book coming out in the next few weeks about the royals’ finances and grifting, just in time. [/quote]
