Have you ever been to a Pride event? Drag brunch? Women’s march? Experienced what it feels like to not hate your immigrant neighbors? Been part of a peaceful chalk the walk protest? Do you know how freeing it is to not just blindly buy into archaic beliefs about religion, marriage, and economics? To feel passionate about social injustices and helping others?

I grew up in a red state thinking I was conservative for years and I know first hand that living life paranoid that immigrants, trans people, etc. are out to take things from you is an exhausting way to live. And surrounding yourself with angry conservative men who base their ideas of masculinity on ridiculous charicatures and quote idiots like Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, Ben Shapiro, Charlie Kirk, etc. is draining. Also there is a reason Grindr blows up at Republican conventions. So many of these men are repressed and angry.

I realize this is the new line of MAGA but it's BS.

You all hate and demonize other groups because  . . . whatever your reasons. You think people need to be a certain type to have value.

I don't HATE you b/c of it (though I also have little nice to say). You are entitled to your viewpoint, whatever I think of it. Dems aren't trying to tell you you can't think that, you can have the benefits of civil society, we're not restricting your right to go to church, we're not denying you your orders for wedding cakes. . . . I can go on and on.

What we ARE saying is that your views are intolerant and bigoted in many instances, and that is our viewpoint to have and communicate. And it is our right to point that out to you. Further, Dems are defending those having their rights stripped and their humanity demeaned by you. We are saying they have the same rights as you do (the benefits of civil society) and that government and government sanctioned activity (and private activity over which there constitutional protections) should treat everyone equally. That's not hating any group.

You're not a victim. Maga isn't a victim. So quit acting like you are by having to share societies privileges and benefits. [/quote]
